A Message from the EBAA President
EAST BAY ALARM ASSOCIATION HELPS RICHMOND POLICE
The Richmond Police Department recently asked the East Bay Alarm Association (EBAA) for a donation.
Sergeant Mitch Peixoto, Supervisor of the Robbery/Homicide Unit, states, “The High Risk Entry Team is responsible for serving all search warrants for the Investigative Services Bureau that the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) does not. A group of detectives assigned to the Investigative Services Bureau are members of the High Risk Entry Team and are responsible for conducting the entries. The members are responsible for conducting their own training and purchasing their own equipment.”
The East Bay Alarm Association Board of Directors reviewed Sgt. Peixoto’s request for a donation and gave them a check for $3,000.00 to purchase ballistic helmets.
“The East Bay Alarm Association’s goal is to support the Law Enforcement Agencies within our area”, says Tom Rood, President of the EBAA. “ Whether it is working with the Chiefs of Police or Sheriff to enact legislation, or provide donations of time or money to support law enforcement programs, we are here to help support you.”
If your agency has a need for a special program, contact EBAA President Tom Rood at 209-430-3908.
