Association (CAA)
The California Alarm Association is
a state trade association comprised of licensed alarm company operators
and suppliers of products and services. Nearly 200 alarm companies and
50 suppliers are members. The alarm companies represent 70% of the
electronic security industry in California.
The Electronic Security
Association (ESA)
ESA, a non-profit 501(c) 6 trade
association, is dedicated to representing, promoting, and supporting
the electronic life safety, security and systems industry.
Member
companies specialize in a wide spectrum of
services to commercial and residential consumers.
Contractors State
License Board (CSLB)
The CSLB protects consumers by
licensing and regulating California's construction industry. There are
more than 310,000 licensed contractors in the state, in 43 different
licensing classifications.
Bureau
of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS)
BSIS licenses and regulates Alarm
Companies. Before you purchase an alarm verify the BSIS license of the
alarm company.
