In unincorporated Alameda County you are required to register your alarm with the Alameda County Sheriff's Department. The cost is $35.00 for two years, and $30.00 after that. Seniors age 65 and older can have these fees waived. The application is currently not on line but may be in the near future. Until that time you can contact Alameda County Sheriff's Dept. Alarm users must file an “Emergency Information Form” with the Police Department annually. There is no annual fee required at this time when submitted. |
